After 12 weeks of the first 2 series, A and B, you have a good grasp of the basic skills and patterns.
In this series, your connection skills will grow, making communication with our partners smoother, safer, more effective, and precise.
New series starts on June 3!

This program consists of a five 6-week series on Footwork, Connection, Upper Body, Turns, and Musicality. You don't have to take them consecutively and can join any of the progressive 6-week series at the start.
This program was designed to help you truly dance through WCS patterns and not just execute them. Whether you're a social dancer looking to have more fun on the floor or a competitor aiming to advance through the ranks, you've learned to understand the mechanics of the basics, improvise within established patterns, and stylize and extend them creatively.
From building a solid foundation to adding complexity to your pattern work and finally dancing to the music, this is the experience that will transform your dancing both technically and artistically. You will be dancing with newfound awareness and joy!
See you on the dance floor!

I am a competitor already. Will I learn anything new?
The skills we address provide the foundation needed to consistently make Novice and Intermediate finals.
And looking ahead, I would love to eventually develop this program to support your journey to even higher divisions.
Remember that dance education is never a "once and done" experience. You'll discover new layers each time you revisit these concepts, whether you're working with different partners, attending workshops, or simply enjoying social dancing. With each iteration, you'll approach the material from the next level of your learning spiral, ready to absorb deeper insights.
I have finished the program. I'm done. Is it even worth repeating it again?
YES, YES, and YES!
Each cycle takes you further into mastery. Concepts that once seemed challenging will become second nature, and you'll uncover hidden gems that surprise even yourself! You will be growing your skills and increasing complexity.
Whether you are joining after ABC classes or have been working on your West Coast Swing for years, you will find new things to work on.
I highly encourage everyone to take at least 2 sets of the full program or more, practice at home, with partners, and apply concepts in social dancing to accelerate your learning.
My performing arts foundation includes 7 years of classical piano and Ukrainian folk dancing in Elementary years, which expanded later with Argentine Tango, Salsa LA and NY, Bachata, Hip Hop, and Contemporary.
But West Coast Swing has truly captured my heart, and I have happily continued learning and tinkering with my West Coast Swing for the last 12 years. I am excited to share my knowledge and approach to this fascinating improvisational partner dance with you to make your dance dreams come true!
I placed in the top 3 in different levels of improvisational competitions in both roles (Follower and Leader) as well as the Rising Star routine division throughout North America. Currently, I compete as a WSDC Advanced follower and Intermediate leader.
I regularly teach group classes on Wednesdays at Dancing for Dessert, and Levels 1-3 and Essentials at SwingSoul. I can also be found deejaying local social dance nights, combining my passion for music with my love for the dance!
I am happy to help you on your WCS journey, whether you are just starting or have been doing it for years!
Over the years, I have consistently trained my dancing and teaching skills with Champion-level dancers like Myles Munroe and Tessa Cunningham Munroe, Sean and Alyssa McKeever, taken multiple WCS-specific teacher training opportunities at ESS and others.
For the last 2 years, I have taught group classes and privates locally, now nearing 250 hours of instruction.
I participated in Judges Intensive training with Jim Minty at Sea to Sky 2024 and with Kelly Cassanova at Boogie by the Bay 2025, mock judging most of the skilled JJ and Strictly divisions, plus all Routine divisions. I judged several local JJ and Strictly competitions.
Having started DJing in 2018, I completed local training with DJ JAmes, convention workshop with DJ Koichi, and a 12hr course with Victor Loveira during the pandemic. I DJ regularly at local WCS venues including Rx, DFD and SwingSoul.
